Before booking with Clear Hope Coaching, please ensure to carefully read and understand the terms and conditions outlined below. Your booking serves as confirmation of your acknowledgment and agreement to these terms as written. We also ask that you sign a contract to this effect so that our work is set within in a transparent framework. We may then begin our journey.
1. Agreement and Contracting: By commissioning coaching, you enter into a contract governed by these terms and conditions, alongside the privacy policy. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please refrain from using the website or entering a contract.
2. Services Not Medical Treatment: Clear Hope Coaching's services are not medical advice or treatment. You retain responsibility for seeking your doctor's advice.
3. New Client Form: Before your initial session, complete and return confidential new client intake form, including personal information, at least 3 working days before your first session. Clear Hope Coaching requires this information to provide services safely and ethically.
4. Professional ethics: We use the European Mentoring and Coaching Council Global Code of Ethics: https://www.globalcodeofethics.org. Should an ethical dilemma present itself, we may use this ethical framework in the first instance to support an exploration of the issue.
5. Right to Terminate Services: Clear Hope Coaching can terminate services at any time, refunding outstanding work. Termination due to unacceptable client behaviour won't result in a refund. Clients can terminate services at any time, following the standard cancellation and refund policy.
6.Price and Payments:
· The agreed price, established during the initial talk session or on the website at contracting, applies to individual sessions or block bookings regardless of session usage.
· Prices are subject to change at any time but won't affect already purchased appointments or services.
· Payment invoices will be emailed to clients for immediate payment, with specific details provided.
· Payment must be made in advance, and coaching will only commence upon payment receipt.
7. Emergency Cancellations by your coach: If we need to cancel due to an emergency, you'll be notified, and the appointment will be rescheduled or refunded. No liability for wider consequences. No refund for received appointments.

9. Safeguarding: As part of standard online safeguarding, you may be asked to verify your identity with photo ID.

Pre-existing Health Conditions: Inform us of any listed health conditions (ongoing active suicidal thoughts/feelings or a recent suicide attempt, depression necessitating inpatient hospitalization, epilepsy, non-epileptic seizures, or dissociative seizures, self-harm (cutting), schizophrenia, psychosis, or bipolar affective disorder, and personality disorders) before booking. Clear Hope Coaching reserves the right not to offer services if it believes your needs are better served elsewhere.
11. Attendance: Sessions must start and end on time. Late arrival (over 10 minutes without notice) results in session cancellation without refund. Ensure technology works for online sessions and be drug/alcohol-free during sessions.
12. Age Requirement: By booking any service, you confirm that you are 18 years or older.
13. Results and Outcomes: No specific outcomes are guaranteed. Fees are for services, time, training, and expertise. No refunds are offered under any circumstances.
14. Concerns: Any issues should be raised as soon as possible. Together we will engage in seeking to understand the nature and impact of your concern; identify options; and agree the best way forward.
15. Confidentiality: Information shared won’t be disclosed without explicit consent, except anonymised in supervision or when required by law.
16. Onward sharing of documents: Please do not share or use documents produced by Clear Hope Coaching for any other purpose than they are intended here for you as a client.
17. GDPR: Brief paper notes after each session to aid the coach’s work with you. These will be kept in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR, 2018). You can see a copy of these notes upon request. I keep these notes for up to eight years, together with information such as your job title, address and contact details. The paper records are stored in a locked cabinet. The only digital data I keep are emails between us and your contact details (email address and phone number) are on my computer which is password protected. We are registered with the Information Commissioner’s Office.
